The Borg from the Star Trek TV series:

There is a certain "species" of the Star Trek universe called the Borg. Cybernetic life forms that assimilate other species into their collective and augment their bodies with cybernetic components by means of nanotechnology and manual work.

The Borg, like a colony of insects, are controlled by a queen and interact by means of a hive mind.

There were some interesting concepts for the queen which were, of course, never used.

Species 8472 from the Star Trek TV series:

Species 8472 is a deadly race that greatly opposes the Borg. They are from a seperate universe from the one in Star Trek and use vessels that are entirely organic.

The Cylons from the re-made TV show Battlestar Galactica:

In Battlestar Galactica, the cylons were a machine race that revolted against their oppressive human creators. Then, after 40 years since the resulting war, they came back in human form. Not only were their versions of humans cyborgs (internally), but so were all of their ships.

An external view of a cylon Basestar shows a sort of grace in its form composing of rounded and curved shapes containing few lines or angles:

Other Cylons:

They may not be cyborgs in external appearance, but I think they're a good example of metal plating and the organic flow of bio-mechanical or biologically inspired components:

The Matrix Series:

The Matrix movies have some scenes that conrtain cyborgs:

The Matrix Robots:

The machines from the Matrix series either imitate aquatic or insect life in their design. In the Matrix: Revolutions, this is extremely evident in scenes of the machine city. In many movies and television shows, machines have the habit of imitating insects in some way, probably due to their similarity in design.

The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy

This movie has one good example of a cyborg:
